  • Edit /etc/gitlab/gitlab.rb
  • Look for the entry external_url which needs to be updated
  • Save
  • Reconfigure gitlab using: sudo gitlab-ctl reconfigure
  • Restart gitlab using: sudo gitlab-ctl restart
